Mini Split Guide helps US buyers organize a ductless heat pump purchase before they commission installation. Our catalog distinguishes single-zone equipment, multi-zone combinations, multiple-system bundles and accessories. Those distinctions come first: a bracket with a BTU compatibility range is not a heat pump, and several independent systems are not one multi-zone condenser.

The question behind a shortlist

Our capacity pages compare nominal 12,000 and 18,000 BTU single-zone systems separately. The multi-zone page addresses a different purchase: a matched outdoor unit and several indoor heads. None of these selections tells you the load of your building. Your contractor's room-by-room calculation and exact-model performance tables must decide suitability.

What the desk actually does

We retain exact Amazon listing records, separate product roles, extract explicitly stated attributes and collect public review snapshots. The methodology publishes the scoring calculation. We have not installed these systems, tested their refrigerant circuits, measured noise or verified seasonal energy use in a home.
